As a relatively young brand, the history of Eichholtz goes back only twenty years. Theo Eichholtz was the son of a supermarket owner whose history dates back to 1888. Although business runs in the family's veins, for Theo Eichholtz it was his ambition and passion for atmosphere that led him to travel across Asia and America to believe he had found what he was looking for. He founded the company with his childhood friend Auke Wichers and has grown it to 50 employees today
